Exciting News: A Fresh Look & A New Chapter for My Art!
I have some exciting news to share! After getting some professional advice I’ve completely revamped my website to reflect what has always been at the heart of my artistic journey—abstract art that resonates, captivates, and finds homes around the world.
I’ve always enjoyed exploring different styles of painting and each piece has been a journey of creativity and fun. I’m always humbled by the incredible support from collectors who have connected with my art and made it part of their own lives. It still amazes me that my paintings have found homes across the world! Despite now having sold well over 200 paintings I think I still suffer from imposter syndrome!
But as I take my career to the next level, I’ve been reflecting on the advice I’ve received from industry professionals. If I want to establish myself as a truly premium artist, I need to refine my focus. After careful thought, it makes sense to dedicate my work to the genre that has brought me the most success—my abstract and impressionist pieces. These are the works that have resonated most deeply with collectors, and they best express my artistic vision.
A New Website, A New Direction
With this renewed focus, I’ve now restructured my website (following advice from someone who knows a lot more about art marketing than me!) to reflect a more high-end, minimalist aesthetic. I’ve carefully curated a selection of my best abstract paintings, presenting them in a way that highlights their exclusivity.
I’d love for you to take a look at the updated site (www.awberyart.com) and tell me what you think! Does it feel more refined? More immersive? Does it capture the essence of what my art is about? Your feedback is incredibly valuable to me, and I’d love to hear your thoughts.
Rising Value: A Reflection of Success
Alongside this refresh, I’ve also made an important change—one that reflects the growing value and recognition of my work - my prices now reflect the increasing demand for my work, ensuring that my collectors—both past and future—are investing in pieces that are growing in value.
Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to sell numerous pieces, and as my reputation has grown, so too has the demand for my art. After taking expert advice and evaluating my sales history, I’ve adjusted my prices to better align with the high-end market I am stepping into. This means my paintings are now positioned in a way that reflects both their artistic value and the investment potential they hold for collectors.
For those of you who have already purchased pieces from me, this should be fantastic news! Your early acquisitions are now worth more, as the value of my work continues to rise. Art collecting isn’t just about aesthetics—it’s also about investment, and I’m delighted that my collectors are seeing the benefits of having my work in their collections.
What This Means Moving Forward
Exclusivity & Scarcity: My paintings remain one-of-a-kind, and I remain committed to not sell prints or copies. Owning one of my original paintings means owning something unique and exclusive.
A More Focused Collection: Instead of a vast selection, I now showcase only a curated selection of my finest pieces.
Commission Opportunities: I still accept commissions, but they will now be positioned as bespoke, high-value creations tailored to serious collectors. I will also be limiting the number of commissions I take each year, as demand has sometimes been too much (not a bad problem to have but it needs to be managed properly so each client has the best experience).
I’d Love Your Feedback!
This journey has been incredible, and I am so grateful to all of you who have supported me along the way. I’d love to hear your thoughts on the new website and my transition into a more high-end art market.
Does the new design resonate with you? Do you feel the pricing shift makes sense given the growing recognition of my work? If you’ve collected my work in the past, how does it feel knowing your painting has likely increased in value (and hasn’t required me to be dead yet!)?
Drop me a message, comment below, or reply to this email—I truly value your insights.
Thank you for being part of this journey with me!
